WE DID IT! (Part Two)

I opened the door to the chicken coop this evening to fill up their feed tray... And lo and behold - AN EGG!  Our very first egg!  

I've become so accustomed to zero eggs all of the time that at first, I saw it and I thought -- did I put that there?  Why is there a brown egg here in the chicken coop?  Wait a minute -- oh my gosh!  WE HAVE OUR FIRST EGG, I screamed out loud!  Nate!  We have an egg!  Get the camera!

As you can plainly see -- it is perfectly egg-shaped, with a strong shell and a lovely brown color.

I am so proud.  Not sure who it was that did it -- but I love them all - all the more!
